1974

Swang Chai Chuan was founded in Kuantan as a sundry goods trader.

1980

Swang Chai Chuan ventured into seafood production and distribution business.

1988

Appointed as Fonterra distributor, expanded distribution network to state of Terengganu and Kelantan. Continued to acquire more distributorship to grow into one of the largest FMCG distributors in East Coast.

2004

Expanded to Central region as Wall’s Ice Cream distributor for Klang Valley.

2006

Acquired CED Organics as the first house brand for SCC Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd. Continued to grow house brand businesses including imported fine food, dairies and beverages to provide sales service to entire West Malaysia.

2012

Appointed as Wall’s Ice Cream distributor in state of Negeri Sembilan.

2015

Developed Seremban DC with frozen warehouse to become the frozen seafood/meat hub for West Coast of Malaysia.

2016

Acquired Chop Chin Huat Sdn Bhd to establish our DC in Alor Star. Undertake several other distributorships inherited from the acquisition.

2017

Appointed as Mondelez distributor for Northern region.
